Accounting Clerk

Our client is seeking an organized and detailed oriented Accounting Clerk with 3-5 years of Bookkeeping experience.  Some of the duties for this position include, but are not limited to: post daily cash receipts, record journal entries, bank reconciliation, process equipment notes for payment- insure all field office rents are paid on time. Enter A/R invoice, maintain daily balances for subsidiary companies. Analyze and reconcile exchange accounts. Create and maintain filing system.  Assist with department phone coverage. Our client, a well-established property management/development company in Westchester County, has an immediate need for an experienced property accountant.  Duties include reviewing and closing general ledger monthly, A/P, A/R, bank reconciliation and maintaining and managing escrow accounts.  Must have a minimum of three years in property management accounting, an accounting degree, and strong Word, Excel and Outlook.  Knowledge of Yardi software definitely preferred. Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Our client has immediate need for a staff accountant.  This is a temp to perm position with the salary in the $40k-$50k range depending upon experience and match to job requirements.  Duties include account receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, managing vendor accounts, assisting with month end close and report generation with heavy data entry.  Must absolutely have to have previous accounting experience and prior positions in construction accounting would be a definite plus.  Must also be able to start early (8:00am) and be available for overtime if needed.
